Gareth Havard BSc
HCPC registered Podiatrist/Chiropodist
Hello! I'm the owner of Cwm Taf Podiatry.
I qualified from Cardiff Metropolitan University in South Wales with a 2:1 degree in Podiatry in 2017.
I work as a locum in clinics in Cardiff and provide mobile Chiropody and Podiatry.
I'm experienced in treating people from all backgrounds and love being out and about meeting different patients.
In my spare time, I'm a big history buff, and as I was brought near the Dare Valley Country Park, I enjoy walking up there.

Why Did I Become a Podiatrist?
Some years ago, long before I even knew what a Podiatrist was, I was running a lot.
As tends to happen, I got unexpectedly injured.
I went through the usual rigmarole of buying different expensive running trainers and shop-bought insoles — none of which worked.
After months of frustration, I was given the number of a Podiatrist.
He made me a set of custom insoles and within days I was back to running freely again.
This sparked an interest in the lower limb and I was lucky enough to be accepted for the undergraduate course in 2014.
