Foot Skin Callus
Your body does a remarkable job at protecting itself.
When excess friction is detected, extra skin forms as a protective barrier.
But sometimes it does this a bit too well!
When built up, callus forms large deposits which can be as painful as corns.
It can also be difficult to tell callus apart from corns and warts (verrucas).

Home Foot Skin Treatment
Callus can be self-treated with a good quality moisturizer.
Gehwol Blue or Mint are the best for this.
Both smell beautiful, absorb fast and mean you don't have to file away like a prisoner trying to rasp on steel bars.
Rub them into the dried out area twice a day for a week, then once every two days after that.
For heavier hard skin build-up's, you may need a decent foot file, like this wooden one.
Wood foot files are better than metal as you can use them in the bath or shower.
(At the end, of course, else you'll be floating in dead skin cells)
