What's The Difference Between a Chiropodist and a Podiatrist?
Nothing — Podiatrist is just an updated term for chiropodist.
The important thing to know is: anyone calling themselves a Podiatrist or (more commonly) a chiropodist has to be HCPC registered, by law.
This can be checked here.

Why did you become a Podiatrist
I cover this in more depth here, but in short:
I got injured running and was treated successfully by a Podiatrist after a long period of frustration.
This sparked an interest in the lower leg and foot that remained until I retrained in 2014 : )

How Long Is An Appointment?
Do You Accept Insurance?
Yes. Health Shield or Welsh Hospital Trust.
Are There Conditions You Don't Treat?
Yes, as I'm a mobile chiropodist, I feel there are some conditions more suitable to a clinic.
These include ingrowing nails with active infection and very thick toenails.
I know several reputable clinics I can refer these too however. And, I'm always happy to assess first.

I'm Diabetic, Do I Need To See You?
Well everyone manages their diabetes differently.
But there is a risk with diabetes of foot injury due to loss of sensation.

What If You Can't Treat My Condition?
If I think something is out of my realm of expertise (or more suitable to a clinic), then I can provide you with Podiatrists who can.
I judge it on a case by case basis.
I usually try and get as much important info as I can in the initial phone call.
